these are the leopard jeans i got when i won the shopbop giveaway at the fishtank blog. they are now on sale for 30% off. i am loving these ‘rebecca minkoff’ beetle juice skinny jeans, and my new brisbane boots by jc are gorgeous and comfy. it’s about time to start buying stock in jc i guess. i am definitely on the trend train, sell out keeps repeating in my brain. as long as i stay true to myself and don’t start letting go of my vintage pieces i’m safe, i think? in other news my studio is back up and i just found out that my lens is fixed. yay! and as you can see i am still obsessing over my new photo apps. have a great weekend!

okay so i am still holding out hoping that summer arrives here in los angeles at some point this year. tonight my husband and i went to the grove and watched tourists bundling up. we had a 4 day “heat wave” about a week ago but now it’s back down in the low 70’s. i went to zara and got a few pairs of jeans that were on sale for ultra cheap. i’m just appreciating that although i do have to layer up, it is gorgeous outside. my husband came home with a gift for me today, that gift being the new iphone 4g and i have been playing around with photo apps all day. obviously.

on another note… i am thinking about letting go of my black jeffrey campbell charli clogs, black jessica simpson dany’s, jeffrey campbell tan miracle wedge and some other shoes. they are all size 7, if anyone is interested shoot me an e-mail otherwise they are going up on ebay. hope you are enjoying your week.

oh and i wanted to tell you how much i love these boots. i have been searching for months for the perfect comfortable black boot. i had a few i kept going back and forth on. well i finally decided on these jeffrey campbell ‘france’ boots. they are so comfy, the heel is a perfect height and they are made of the softest leather. i’m in heaven. it always makes me happy knowing i will wear the shit out of something, like my nations, all saints, frye campus boots and moccasins. all tried and true. aka staples.

warning: this is another image heavy post. today brian and i went to chinatown to get some matcha powder for our daily green tea lattes. there is a place there that we get it for cheap, so while we were down there we dressed up like tourists, drank boba’s and cruised down to olvera st. as i wanted to get some blankets for the park and a backpack. i have this habit of putting on everything i want to buy or do buy. so by the time we left i had my bb cap from chinatown, poncho and backpack on.

it was nice to get out of the house for the first time in a week. my energy level seems to be up a bit for now. hallelujah.

hope you all enjoyed your weekend as much as i did.

when i opened the box for my new red shoes i got crazy dejavu. i had a few pair of clogs and clog boots in the early 90’s and seeing these took me right back. i don’t know if this is a good or a bad thing.
