hey guys, quick question. i was wondering if anyone wants to help me out on this job next week. we would be pulling on wednesday, shooting friday and wrapping 1/2 day on saturday or monday. it’s for the new toy story video game and involves pulling clothing for 10 kids. disney aka dick me (i’ve worked with them before and they are so cheap), are not paying me my day rate and not giving me an assistant. i’m basically doing it for my husband who is directing it. not that i feel like i am better, but i am a professional and there are ten kids. that’s a lot of talent. i haven’t worked without an assistant in 15 years? anyway i am frustrated and just thought that one of you might want some experience. i will also take some money out of my practically non existent rate to pay you $100 a day. i know that is shitty, but that is all i can do. also if you can’t but you know someone that can let me know. p.s. i am not complaining, i am really thankful to be working. i just wonder why it’s always the companies with the money that don’t pay.

i had a busy day running errands today. it’s been chilly, so i wore my grandma’s vintage fur vest (my treasure) and didn’t need it because it was so hot. i am sorry that i have been slacking on the store and everything. i have been busy making jewelry, feathered hair clips and tie dyeing. oh also i am wearing my fringe cuff that was featured as a how to at new york design shop. check it out here. love.

i am so going out of my comfort zone posting this but i love this dress. i got it from nickie frye’s etsy shop, which totally rocks btw. thanks nickie for everything, this includes your listening ear and your rad recommendations. so yes i am sporting a dress that makes me sound like a belly dancer with each step i take. i’m also wearing my stripper shoes, that i am in the middle of studding right now, i’m adding chains as well.

i am so excited! i did another diy with new york design shop. it’s a suedette studded fringe cuff. i love the way it feels when i wear it. anyway what are you waiting for? go check it out! i’m sure i will be wearing it in an outfit post soon too. love.

things are getting a bit hectic around here. i am going to start prepping for a disney commercial in a few days, so i’m getting my kit together. this will be the first time i have worked since all the life traumas this last year, and i am excited to get back, and so ready… bring it on! if you are following me on twitter i will be posting pics on the job, as i post pics all day every day anyway.

the outfit takes me back to my grunge days. brought my dunks out for the first time on this blog. i’ve had them for a couple of years and they are my favorites.

hope you are all enjoying your week. much love.

NOTE: IF THIS BLOG HASN’T RE-ROUTED YOU YET, GO TO MY NEW ADDRESS. I AM ONLY POSTING AT THAT ADDRESS NOW.

THANKS BEAUTIFUL ONES.

big news today. i’m switching my blog from blogspot to http://apparellel.com, so be sure to update your RSS feeds and bookmarks.

also all of my followers on bloglovin’ can update here. if you don’t use bloglovin’, you might want to think about it, in my opinion it is the best way to keep up with your favorite blogs. i’m really excited about the new blog. all of my blogs, my store and *ask a stylist will be connected. it will not only be easier for me, but for you as well. holla!

i cut off this caftan my grandma gave me, i have a lot of long ones but i don’t wear them much, so out with the scissors for this little lady. i still want to dye these platforms and i’m leaning towards either a dark maroon, dark green or dark navy–so torn. okay so you may notice the lovely little leg jewel i am wearing. i made it a few weeks ago. i like to wear it over jeans or leggings, and i am getting ready to do a diy on it soon.

hope you had a great weekend.
